recently, i have lost someone whom i aint really close to, my grandmother. i do feel sad that my father doesnt have his parents anymore. almost everybody cried. her children may be old and have their own family, but i cannot imagine myself without my parents. my grandmother aint close to me but she used to visit my place now and then. she may just sit there quietly and then doze off. i used to not understand why she still will come, if she just sit there and sleep. but i now realised its the company that matters. sometimes even your close ones cannot be with you always, and you are lonesome. most people usually calls out their friends or whoever to accompany them. she, instead, took initiative and visit my place. we seldom talk, but at least we do talk. its the quality that counts. now that shes gone, hopefully she is happy (my 大姑 dreamt of her saying shes happy) and gone to heaven.

26th october: met up with mingli, minqian and weiling at toa payoh. all the pretty ladies i adore. :D had dinner and chats at Koufu, then we walked around toa payoh central. mingli and minqian left earlier and i played Battle.Net with weiling at the lanshop. the Battle.Net there only can play in Asia, damm lousy can. anyway i was simply delighted about the gathering. didnt get to take a group shot, hope we really have a neoprint together lol.
27th october: celebrated zhansheng's early birthday at yanfang's place. went amk hub for shopping with alan, jane and siewsiong before heading her place. kaihong and minghui came later and we played mahjong. i had really pretty good luck. ^^ our simple homemade reunion dinner (chiefs: zhansheng and his girlfriend, yanfang)
the only complain in my mind was, the chicken wing and fish were spicy. we didnt have rice, so i didnt eat much.
28th october: another monthsary with mr poot, 22th month to be exact. went bugis for some shopping, but never bought anything. i discovered a wonderful scent of curry and we tried to find where it came from. tried finding it everywhere, seriously! and finally its from the newly opened Food Junction, love their simple interior design. tried their Japanese omelette rice (you thought roti prata?). better yet, had their famous in newspaper prata dessert with CURRY of course.
30th october: i was going gym with weiling, because im free on tuesdays (no school). when i realised that tuesday was tuckyong's birthday, i cancelled the activity with her. the birthday king said he wanted dinner to be cup noodles, we granted his wish. its really special to celebrate birthday in a different way, and i like to eat cup noodles. :x i like, but i dont get to eat them, not good anyway. mr poot and i got him a cute little pooh and friends jigsawed coin bank, hoping he can save some money. so after dinner, we discussed where we should go next. we were arguing whether to go ang mo kio or toa payoh. although the coin flipping gave us 3 times ang mo kio, there were a lot of protests and we decided to ask valerie (as she stays bedok) to be the judge. in the end, toa payoh it is. went to play dota 4v5 (yaungai, valerie, leslie and me against tuckyong, ferline, isaac, konghong, weixiong) we won 1 round, lost 1. after that melvin came, we went home and tuckyong went on melvin's bike. wee-ness.
1st november: was at tampines interchange and took bus 28 home. had a hell of a time in that bus, the journey took more than a lot of an hour to reach my house. initially, couldnt meet up with weiling because i already told my mother i would be going home for dinner. after a long conversation in the bus, we decided to meet. she came my house, and my parents went out (she was shy too), and we had dinner at my house. :) after that went toa payoh central to walk and we bought a Little Miss tee each. because 1 for 12$, 2 for 20$, its a good deal what! bought a purple one which i simply love, but i couldnt wear it. because on this day, my grandmother died. went to Tan Tock Seng hospital and chanted Amitabha for her (to go heaven) within a limited time of 2 hours. 2 hours only as it was a suspected murder case because she past away at home, normal procedures for police even though she had recent medical reports. went home about 4am and helped out for the rest of 6 days. first time involving with the wake, and 3-hour rituals every single day are simply holy. also thanks mr poot for accompanying me on many days.
10th november: wanted to go Vivo City, to visit my lovely puppies and rabbits and hamsters. sadly, mr poot was sick so we went to a nearer place at town. misses those puppies so much, do bring me see them ok! bought 2 cheese donuts from eDonuts before heading to Plaza Singapura. wasnt there for long as there isnt any good movie/slots, his mind is all about Saw 4. and mine is full of ENCHANTED and BEE movie, cute what!
went over to The Cathay, and had dinner at Nihon Mura. because their sushi costs 99cents per plate, and he said the rest of the restaurants didnt appeal to him. their sevice is quite unique. you pick orders using sticks with labels and you keep them in a cup with your table number on it and you place the cup at their counter and you wait for them to serve the food. and as the sushi you had to take them yourself, they dont charge you service charge for sushi. only charge you gst for sushi. service charge will be charged from other orders. and nothing beats sashimi!
13th november: went to visit my grandmother at Bright Hill's Guan Yin Temple. after that went shopping with my mother and sleeping sister in pram. had to get some formal outfit for my presentation. tried 3 sets, in the end i chose the first set i wore. this is the second set which my mother chose:
the sales auntie, my mother and mr poot preferred that, but not me. x) so in the end, i chose the white version of this:
doesnt look formal, but the adults say it is formal so i accepted it. i like it because look quite unique. then after that i continued my hunt for dresses. found this pretty, and i was so so confused whether to get this colour or black. both look so nice! in the end i heed my mother, BLACK.
i bought a pair of black shoes too, because my mother dislikes my silver ones. overall costed me nearly 200$ for 4 items, not so bad. my mother bought just one small
armpit kiap kiap handbag for nearly 200$, ok! mr poot came to look for me, and we went heeren after sending my mother to MRT. went cineleisure shortly for food, and i had a very cute cup cake bought by him. :)
we watched movie after going to the toilet to clean our bowels together, in different cubicles of course (quite coincidental we both stomachache what. usually is i wait, he go). Bee Movie was tempting, but mr poot insisted a "no bee movie" LOL. so we watched Game Plan and i like it very much. joe's house is really great, love the interior design. i love Elvis Presley too mann! the story very funny and sad at the end, and with happy ending of course. also had mini lollipops from him! because ive never seen them before, until that day at my aunt's place.
eeks i got new pimple, not enough of sleep. anyway bought this horoscope book, but sadly its in mandarin. i could never find an english horoscope book?! i will slowly read, regardless on how clueless and dumb it is to read in mandarin.
today: visited my grandmother again. had my lunch at Macdonald's and bought Happy Meal for myself and the toy for my sister, i am not shy to eat Happy Meal. my mother then gave her some of my corn and a small balloon, and she suddenly had so many yellow stuffs. and she like to argue yellow is orange. -.=
walked around the temple to find the bus stop and we spotted a lot of children under the Goddess of Mercy, how cute.
then we found the bus stop shortly after going to where we started, and took bus to bishan. went to Junction 8 and i visited weicheng as always, also to visit the cute hamsters! their business quite good i think, left 5 hamsters only and he said supplies come in by saturday. this cute little spikey one, costs 30$ and it sits on its butt, like my past hamster.
as an avid food lover, all i can think about is eating good food mann! but here are some sad stories, related to my food. x)
donuts from pasir ris, tragedy. refrained from eating until met up with mr poot. had dinner too full so didnt get to eat them. gave him both when going home, because no storage and the heart-shaped one was meant for him. i miss my peppermint cheese!
my freezer had those 2 Ben & Jerry's ice cream which are bought by me. so tempting, every day and night i think of them. because sadly, i still havent even open them because of my sickness!
new pocky chocolate, mango flavour. initially i meant to buy it for a friend's birthday. but because of my grandmother's wake, i didnt go school and never have the chance to give him. now it had dragged too long to gift already, yikes!
two boxes of Munchy Donuts (24 donuts), placed on the table outside at the corridor. because my grandmother's wake is all-vegetarian. want eat, go outside!
oh, presenting my crap animation while attempting Autodesk 3Dmax. it is some snowduck eating 3 donuts and drinking tea, but i kind of anyhow animated it. i kept laughing at my own nonsense in class. Virtual Reality is slack but fun!
